Commercial Sales Manager - NSW

The Opportunity

An exceptional opportunity awaits for an experienced Commercial Sales Manager to join our team, located in Minto NSW, with the added flexibility of working from home.

Reporting to the NSW Regional Sales Manager, this role will further capitalise on the growth potential within the NSW multi-residential and commercial construction segments and to increase our market share and establish a stronger presence in these sectors.

Your typical duties and responsibilities will be to

  • Lead and engage the commercial sales team to effectively implement the sales strategy and achieve goals for increasing market share in Cemintel, Hebel, and AFS
  • Expand the customer base and secure projects
  • Promote growth in the multiresidential and commercial builder segment and ensure an adequate number of contractors are available
  • Enhance the sales project pipeline in the multiresidential and commercial sectors
  • Facilitate the smooth handover of specified projects and oversee the successful conversion of specifications into sales
  • Support the sales and marketing teams by providing valuable insights into the market and competitors
  • Identify potential opportunities in Construction Systems within the multiresidential and commercial sectors in NSW and target them accordingly
  • Establish strong relationships and gain insights from key customers and other divisions within CSR, such as Interior Systems
  • Develop and implement growth plans in collaboration with key customers to achieve continuous market share growth across the product portfolio
  • Adhere to WHSE (Workplace Health, Safety, and Environment) regulations and comply with the responsibilities outlined in the matrix

About You

  • Education: Possess qualifications in Engineering, Business, or Construction that validate the required abilities and skills for the role
  • Experience: Have a minimum of 10 years of senior sales experience, including a proven track record of managing a sales team successfully for at least 5 years
  • Capability: Exhibit the capacity to drive primary sales growth in multiresidential and commercial sectors, both at the project and customer level
  • Influence: Possess the ability to exert influence at senior levels and negotiate favourable commercial outcomes that secure demand growth
  • Channel Management: Demonstrate proficiency in managing distribution channels such as contractors, builders, and resellers, ensuring geographical installation and supply capabilities align with demand
  • Resultsoriented: Display a focus on achieving results and adhere to company policies and processes, while also exercising initiative to meet targets
  • Team Leadership: Demonstrate the ability to build and guide the capabilities of the team effectively
  • Strategic Contribution: Contribute to the wider business management team by participating in policy and strategy development, as well as sales execution strategies, while effectively communicating across the organisation
  • Partnerships: Foster productive partnerships with individuals and groups within and outside the business
  • Collaboration: Develop and utilise collaborative relationships to negotiate and facilitate the accomplishment of sales strategy and goals
