The Role
Our enthusiastic

Airfreight Team is on the hunt for a motivated

Transport Allocator to ensure all our Australian Border Force, DAFF and other requirements have been met prior to handover to client or transport carrier.

What will you be responsible for?

Act as first point of contact for carrier queries and clients relating to inbound and outbound cargo
Coordinate with the Warehouse team to ensure all warehouse release authorities have been granted accordingly
Monitor carrier performance and report back to Supervisor regarding loss in transit, damage in transit or theft
Book cargo with carriers using our webbased portals and systems
Prepare and submit quotations to Supervisor for approval for domestic land transport movement

What are we looking for?
We are looking for a Transport Allocator with freight forwarding experience and a 'can-do' attitude.

This includes:

Excellent customer service skills
Strong communication skills, both written and oral
Teamwork and the proven ability to work towards a common goal
Tech savvy with MS programs (Word, Excel etc.) and ability to pick up DBS systems
Knowledge of relevant legislation
