About the client
***Privately owned Australian freight forwarding business based in south east Brisbane with international scope and ingrained national relationships. Established client base and hands on all rounders in all positions within the business. Top end $ for the experienced forwarder looking to still be involved operationally, whilst having their own port folio of clients to look after in providing supply chain solutions for their business.


About the role
***Hands on air and sea (mainly sea) export operations role new major client for the business, as well as helping out with general cargo exports for the team. Based in a team of 2, you will not only be the go to export operator for this client, but also the account manager for client visits, anything they require regarding exports, you are the go to. Enhance your export skills and industry contacts and reputation.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Sea & air (mainly sea) import & export (mainly import)
  • International CS, bookings and routing
  • Liaising with overseas agents, suppliers and local clients
  • Quoting on certain trade lane shipments
  • Provide supply chain solutions to client base

Skills & Experience

  • Freight Forwarding experience
  • Dealing with customers and clients
  • Cargowise/CW1 advantagous
  • Reporting exposure desirable
  • Import/Export understanding
  • International routing and booking skills
