We are looking for two suitably qualified
Team Leaders - Roads & Stormwater Maintenance to join the team.

You will be responsible for effectively and efficiently undertaking civil construction works within the Municipality that meets with legislation, industry standards and GCC's annual renewal and upgrade plans.


The successful applicants will have:


  • Experience in working with pavement, asphalt, concrete and pipe laying materials, and the proven ability to read and interpret plans and design drawings.
  • Understanding and knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety and experience with Safe Operating Procedures (SOPS).
  • Ability to work well within a team environment and to adapt to a changing environment.
  • Sound literacy, communication, interpersonal and time management skills.
  • Be physically fit and have proven ability to work in all weather conditions.

Qualifications required:


  • Certificate IV in Civil Construction and/or experience in leading teams in the construction industry.
  • Current Medium Rigid Truck "MR" Class licence
  • White Card
  • Traffic Management Accreditation

Position Hours:
Full-Time, 76 hours fortnight.


Salary range:
$64,885.62 to $68,453.36 plus superannuation
