Botanic House has a unique and open layout over two levels that comfortably allows for café and a la carte dining plus a range of private functions including weddings, engagements, christenings, birthdays etc.

Terrace on the Domain is located opposite the Art Gallery of NSW and has stunning green views over the Domain.

The Role


The Wedding Coordinator is a representative of Trippas White Group in the Royal Botanic Gardens and is responsible for the coordination/planning of all wedding related events across the multi venue Operation.

Reporting directly to the General Manger of Operations, this role is focused on ensuring all weddings are coordinated and delivered in a professional, courteous and efficient manner.

The Wedding Coordinator is also responsible for the handover of event service to the Operations Team to ensure a smooth, reliable and professional transition for the client.

This role will work from the Trippas White Group offices located at Head Office and the venues within the Royal Botanic Gardens.


Does this sound like you?
As a Wedding Coordinator we would expect you to have the following:

  • At least 2+ years' experience in a similar role in events or hospitality
  • Proven success coordinating detailed wedding events
  • Strong sales experience and capability to on sell and up sell the venue
  • Experience in managing, organising and coordinating site visits
  • Outstanding time management and strong multitasking skills
  • Strong client, customer liaison and relationship building skills
  • Be able to form part of a team and communicate effectively
  • Innovative approach to new ideas and operations. Ability to think outside the box
  • Love of events and hospitality
