Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily geological and engineering advice on rock mass classification by Pells Issue site mapping documentation, issue recommendations based on project design drawings, and predict upcoming ground conditions
- Partake in the Permit to Excavate/Tunnel and trenching process
- Coordinate with Engineers and Supervisors on design drawings, temporary works, scheduling and status of the project
- Perform stability analysis of rock cuts, open slopes and underground developed areas for assessment of overall tunnel stability and production planning
- Facilitate internal and external geotechnical by developing and improving internal auditing tools as required
- Slope stability assessments, underground mapping, underground design review
- Compile monthly reporting of geological mapping and excavation of tunnels, shafts and caverns
About you
- Accredited tertiary degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Geology, Geoscience, or Engineering
- Experience (preferred) in project geology, tunnelling or underground working environments
- Excellent communication skills and personality with a desire to have fun with their career

$100, $140,000.00 per year
