Description

The Victorian Ombudsman is seeking to employ a VPS 5.1 P&C Business Partner, L&D and Strategies with contemporary and proven experience in L&D, as well as delivering key P&C initiatives such as DE&I, Wellbeing and Safety.

Success will be measured by the ability to partner with a wide range of people across the organisation, to deliver L&D offerings, strategic projects, provide HR advice and to champion VO's culture and values.

About you

  • Demonstrated knowledge and practical working experience in contemporary HR theory and practice, particularly in the areas of Learning & Development, OH&S, DE&I, Generalist advice, Recruitment and HR Reporting.
  • Working experience in using SAP SuccessFactors HR system, or equivalent modern HRS and LMS.
  • Demonstrated track record in proactively designing and delivering contemporary L&D offerings to build manager and employee capabilities.
  • The ability to build constructive relationships with our staff and partner with Managers and their teams, to ensure right outcomes for our people.
  • Must be a proactive team player with a 'can do' attitude, be highly organised and capable of juggling multiple priorities.
  • Good attention to detail.
A tertiary qualification in human resources or a related discipline is preferred.
