Description

We have an exciting opportunity that has arisen for an enthusiastic and driven Accounts Receivable Coordinator to join our supportive and collegial Finance and Compliance team.

The position is for a fixed-term contract of up to 12 months, with the possibility of extension, to cover a period of parental leave.


Within this role, you will work autonomously to design your own workflow and daily tasks to facilitate an intimate understanding of our clients and their payment patterns and processes.

You will be given the opportunity to act as a Business Partner to our Partners and Practice Groups in all aspects of the debtors' management process to assist in providing efficient and confident outcomes.


Key activities and role responsibilities include:

  • Follow Firm Policy and Procedures for Debtors Management. Proactively follow up invoices and progress claims for payments, ensuring payments are received by the due date.
  • Daily management of all debtors management follow up action items, keeping accurate records of all actions taken and agreed follow ups.
  • Timely communication and management of potential doubtful and slow paying debtors to senior management.
  • Process daily receipting.
  • Manage the inbound calls for accounts which include your attention to ad hoc debtors queries, dealing promptly with requests for copies of invoices, statements and credit card payments.
  • Effectively liaising with Partners, other staff and team members.
  • Prepare Monthly Credit Management reports for the Board.
  • Provide the Financial Controller with assistance and support as directed.
  • At least 3 years' experience within a full function Accounts Receivable position is preferred.
  • Intermediate to Advanced level of Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong and confident communication style to be able to align with our brand promise 'Experience, Confidence, Clarity'.
  • Proven experience within a high volume, fast paced environment.
  • The ability to work autonomously as well as within a team.
  • Always exercise strong attention to detail.
