YOUR role
In your role as Project Administrator typical duties will include:

  • Issuing and management of RFIs, NODs, EOTs, Variations
  • Mandatory project reporting and safety inspections
  • Project filing and record management
  • Document control
  • Project design and specification file management
  • Client correspondence and liaising, engagement, coordination and correspondence with consultants, engineers, subcontractors and suppliers and material providers
  • Meeting DESBT Training Policy requirements including apprentice hours tracking and reporting
  • Contract financial administration and tracking, contract progress claims and invoicing mandatory contract reporting
  • Safety inspections coordination, contract scheduling and coordination to ensure key goals and objectives meet timelines
  • Tender administration and submission package preparation support, handover and certification coordination,

YOUR opportunity
We are seeking a experienced Project Administrator to join us on a full-time, permanent basis.

You will be a key member of our small team based in our Bowen Hills Brisbane office, and have the opportunity to develop your skills on broad ranging projects.

Our small size is a major strength for your ongoing learning and development, as you'll support the full life cycle of the delivery of our projects, from pre-construction to construction management.

You will report to the pre-construction director, and provide administrative support to other key office team members, and be responsible for managing the office phone and general enquiries.

Our tender process is fast paced and multifaceted, so an ability to work well under pressure and being adaptable is important for the role.


Other Skills Required Include;
- demonstrated experience (2-4 years) in a construction administration role or similar,
- excellent computer literacy in MS Word, Excel and Outlook;
- a very high level of accuracy and attention to detail;
- ability to organise and prioritise work independently and deliver to tight deadlines;
- excellent interpersonal and written communication skills;
- strong problem solving skills and ability to think on your feet;
- curiosity to learn and takes initiative and ownership; and
- work effectively with others and strong team player
