About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic team leading our approach to the provision of quality care to clients of the Theranostics and Nuclear Medicine Department. Within the framework of the Mission, Vision, Values and Philosophy as well as the policies of St Vincent's Hospital Sydney Ltd. (SVHS), a Nuclear Medicine Scientist at this level has completed the supervised practice programme, or fourth year university degree equivalent, and obtained general registration through Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

Selection Criteria
1. Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to the Philosophy, Mission and Values of Mary Aikenhead Ministries and St Vincent's Health Australia.
2. Bachelor of Applied Science in Medical Radiation Science - Nuclear Medicine or equivalent qualifications recognised by the Medical Radiation Practice Board (MRPB).
3. Current NSW EPA radiation licence under the Radiation Control Act 1990.
4. Completed the supervised practice programme, or fourth year university degree equivalent, and obtained general registration through Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
5. Demonstrated ability and willingness to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team to achieve organisation outcomes.
6. Proven high level communication, interpersonal and decision making skills and the ability to solve complex problems.
7. Developed knowledge in the application of quality improvement, industrial, risk management and WH&S principles.
8. Demonstrated significant ongoing commitment to continuing education and willingness to participate in undergraduate student education and departmental in-service lectures.
