Inner city office - full time - Great $$$ on offer- Must be available to start within a week
- Close to public transport (Train & Tram)
THE ROLE:
- Undertake sourcing and supplier selection
- Acquisition of goods/services
- Inventory management
- Supplier management and contractual arrangements.
- Procurement functions at both a strategic and transactional level,
- Governance processes and compliance to relevant standards.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to resolve issues
- Monitor department requirements against inventory levels
- Issue goods (and place order requests) into the internal departments on a daily basis or as otherwise required
- Adhoc administration duties on a daily basis.
TO BE CONSIDERED, YOU MUST HAVE:
- Previous experience in administration, procurement or purchasing roles would be advantageous
- A well planned approach, organised mentality with an ability to multitask effectively
- Effective MS Office suite skills.
- Great communication and negotiation skills with the capacity to build healthy, productive relationships
- Ability to learn our industry quickly.
- Being time sensitive and responsible in purchasing quality products to customer timeframes.
- A good eye for detail and doublechecking so that you can rely on your listening and communication skills leading to the right outcomes and customer satisfaction.
- Self motivation in following all company Workplace Health and Safety procedures.
- Full work rights in Australia to work full time.
