About the Role:
The Fire Equipment Maintenance (FEM) team strives to provide excellence in service delivery for the servicing of portable fire protection equipment across Victoria.
The FEM Support Officer will provide efficient and effective customer service and administrative support to CFA Volunteer Servicing Brigades and FEM team customers.
More specifically the position provides excellent customer service to in/external customers and responds to customer enquiries in a professional and efficient manner.
Additionally, it provides effective and efficient administrative support including:- data entry, record management and the administration of other related databases and systems
- accurate preparation and document control
- basic financial transactions such as the preparation of bank reconciliations, transfers (EFT, reversals, etc.) and reconciliation of customer payments
- printing, copying and filing, handling of incoming and outgoing mail and maintenance of the office supply inventory
About You:
This position requires a process driven operator who will work collaboratively in a team environment. You will have a strong customer service work ethic providing accurate administration in a timely manner. More specifically you will have
- Excellent computer literacy skills across the MS Office suite
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work within a team, work proactively, with mínimal supervision.
- Demonstrated organisational skills, particularly in a multiskill office environment.
- Ability to relate to a volunteer network.
