An exciting opportunity for a Communications Manager has become available working within a sought-after government department Great rate and contract length with potential to extend further within the role

Your Role:

You will be working within the Marketing and Communications team.

Your role will be planning and delivering communications strategies to support the organisations priorities and program objectives.

Your Duties:

You will develop communication and engagement strategies to support program objectives, initiatives and projects
You will design, implement, and coordinate communication and engagement activities, to support priorities and to communicate key messages relating to activities and initiatives
You will deliver communication and engagement campaigns to enable communication of information across the organisation and externally
You will provide input to the development of internal communication and engagement plans
You will provide operational advice to business units on sensitive communication issues
You will liaise and engage with stakeholders

Your Desirable Criteria:

Tertiary qualifications in media, marketing, or communications and/or equivalent knowledge, skills, and experience
Experience managing workloads and recommendations as well as input to the development of relevant systems, frameworks team planning and projects
Experience ensuring quality control in the implementation of own workload
Experience recommending and using judgement based on evidence
Proven consultation with management on course of action in matters that are sensitive, highrisk or businesscritical
Strong experience in the management of complex communications and/or engagement initiatives
Health and/or Government background desirable.
