At ALLEGRIA, we _ardently strive to craft the finest handmade fresh pasta dishes_, drawing inspiration from the rich traditions of Bologna.

Our dishes aim to transport you, evoking emotions and memories with each delicious bite.

Our business started three years ago as Pasta Poetry, focusing on fresh pasta meal kits. Recently, we rebranded our consumer offering to
Allegria. Today, our production kitchen is in Melbourne, where we operate our retail shopfront and deliver fresh pasta across Melbourne.

We are ambitious in the space and want to become
Australia's number-one brand in fresh pasta.

We will do this by opening selective eateries and production kitchens in major Australian cities whilst continuing to grow our footprint online and in grocers.

As we expand, we are also growing our team. This role will form part of our retail team that manages our Melbourne shopfront and online offering. The role will report to our Retail Manager.

This is a key role for us as we introduce our brand to more customers across Melbourne and Australia.

We want to work with individuals genuinely interested in our brand and keen to join us on our journey to become a household brand in Australia.


Some of the key responsibilities in this role:

  • Welcoming customers into the space, assisting them to find desired items.
  • Brand story, product knowledge and acknowledgement of the handcrafted process.
  • Advising customers on new items, sharing experience and encouraging them to purchase.
  • Ensuring sales targets are met.
  • Execute the shop operating procedures, sales processes and cash handling procedures.
  • Stock management
- rotation of stock, ensuring pasta looks fresh and inviting.

  • Monitoring stock levels on the online store, packing and fulfilling orders received.
  • Communication with the kitchen regarding customer feedback and par levels.
  • Responding to customer enquiries and resolving any negative feedback.
  • Ordering of packaging and consumables needed.

We require:

  • Experience previously within hospitality.
  • An innovative thinker who can work on new ways for us to connect with customers.
  • Experience with the implementation of new workflows, including IT systems.
