  • Fulltime (1.0 FTE), continuing position
  • Commencement Salary: $87,955 per annum (plus 17% superannuation)

About the Role

The Consultant:
Employee Relations plays an important role in supporting the delivery of a proactive and constructive employee relations function.


Reporting to the Senior Consultant:

Employee Relations, you will provide expert advice, service and support to the Employment Relations (ER) team, managers and staff across a broad range of contemporary ER functions and you will work collaboratively with relevant stakeholders.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Industrial Relations or Law with subsequent relevant experience, or extensive specialist experience working in Human Resources or Employee/Industrial Relations
  • Experience in providing internal consultancy services with a strong customer service focus, business partnership, demonstrated project management and the achievement of successful outcomes
  • Demonstrated experience in providing advisory services particularly in the context of applicable industrial legislation
  • Proven experience in managing human resource or employee relations matters including underperformance, grievances, misconduct and other employee relations' matters
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills for the presentation of reports and documents and management of negotiation, consultancy and facilitation of consultation and presentations
  • Demonstrated cultural sensitivity and experience with providing services in a diverse environment
