We're looking for a Production Manager to join our creative team at Hinkler:


About the role:


As the Production Manager at Hinkler, you will play a pivotal role in managing allocated projects, overseeing their successful completion within budget and on time.

You will _work_ closely with the Product Development Manager NR and be committed to delivering top-notch production results while upholding our core values - Simplicity, Passion, Integrity, Relationships, Improvement, and Teamwork.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage allocated products _from_ inception to delivery, ensuring they align with product and customer briefs.
  • Collaborate with printers and internal stakeholders (Sales, Studio, and Shipping) to communicate and adhere to production schedules.
  • Foster strong relationships with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and exceptional service levels.
  • Innovate and share new product ideas and technologies with the wider team.
  • Provide leadership and support to allocated SME customers and formats.
  • Ensure data integrity by accurately entering information into D36
  • Initiate and manage purchase orders (POs) to vendors, including specification maintenance and version changes.
  • Oversee artwork approval, including obtaining sales approval on customerspecific requirements.
  • Assist the Product Development Manager and Head of Procurement in various tasks as required.

What you will bring:


  • At least 2 years of experience in production control and procurement, preferably within the consumer goods or retail sectors, with a strong customerfacing focus.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and electronic).
  • Proven ability to prioritise effectively, solve problems logically, and maintain a solutionsoriented mindset.
  • A proactive approach to raising and addressing issues promptly.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and managing budgets and schedules.
  • Capability to _work_ both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
