Description
Joining the team at Australia's largest logistics company, continue your training and development working in Heavy Vehicle.

With access to state-of-the-art equipment, training and workshop environment with an A-grade safety rating, you will learn to repair and service heavy engines and trailers, and ensure that the fleet continues to run smoothly.


Based in the Karawatha workshop, you will gain valuable hands-on experience working alongside a team of dedicated technicians as you train to become a qualified Heavy Vehicle mechanic.


About the Apprenticeship:

2024 Commencement:

  • 4 Year, fulltime apprenticeship working towards a Cert III in Heavy Vehicle Mechanical Technology
  • Handson learning, with support from an experienced team
  • Inspect, maintain and service internal fleet
  • Maintain and service heavy commercial trailers
  • Receive quality training from TAFE Queensland
  • Ongoing support throughout your apprenticeship from your WPC Group Mentor

About You:


  • Passionate about a career in automotive and mechanics
  • Committed to an apprenticeship, including studies at TAFE
  • Strong communication skills
  • Thrive in a handson working environment
  • Hold a current and valid drivers licence
  • Previous experience, including a Cert II in Automotive, is _beneficial, but not essential_
