Finance Business Partner - NSW Government


Finance Business Partner required by a NSW Government department with a flexible location & hybrid work arrangements on a 12-month contract engagement with likely ongoing extensions paying up to $750 per day + Super.

Primary Purpose of the Role:


The Finance Business Partner will leverage their strong analytic skills & financial acumen to provide trusted financial advice & assist the business with annual planning, budget preparation, forecasts & prepare regular financial performance insights & commentary.


About You:


  • Tertiary qualification in a related finance field and/or membership of recognised professional accounting association (Member/Associate) as well as relevant financial skills, knowledge & working experience
  • High level working knowledge & experience with SAP & Excel
  • Strong knowledge of, and experience working with finance systems for the purposes of creating insights & recommendations
  • Strong analytic skills with demonstrated experience translating insights into implementable recommendations
  • Outstanding stakeholder engagement skills & experience building trusted partnerships to optimise business outcomes
