Our client is an active manager of major long-term PPP infrastructure assets on behalf of investors. With the vision of being the trusted partner of choice for infrastructure solutions throughout Australia and New Zealand, our client draws upon their highly qualified staff to unlock the potential of infrastructure to benefit all stakeholders. They are looking for an experienced executive leader to join their team to provide leadership in relation to all operational activities of three of their current PPP infrastructure assets.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a General Manager you will be responsible for providing strategic advice and governance in relation to your infrastructure assets, as well as strategic oversight for all operational activities.
As a member of the executive lead team, you will also promote the company vision and demonstrate and maintain its values.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the delivery of Agreement/Deed obligations and outcomes.
- Delivering required operational performance within a defined budget including oversight/management of abatements and discretionary cost control.
- Leading and supporting stakeholder management at strategic and operational level.
- Ensuring compliance with material Project Deed Requirements including assisting key stakeholders with security accreditation/certification, reporting regime and KPI/abatement regime.
- Assisting stakeholders in meeting project implementation requirements.
- Be the lead agent in the identification and development of growth and commercial opportunities within the existing Agreements/Deed.
- Developing and sign off the preparation of forecasts, budgets and reports on aspects of profitability and capital expenditure, where appropriate.
ABOUT YOU
As an accomplished professional and well-rounded Executive leader, you will have exceptional commercial skills and a demonstrated track record of developing revenue and commercial opportunities.
- Tertiary qualification in business, project management or related field.
- Significant experience at a senior management level, incorporating reporting obligations to senior stakeholders (including Boards).
- Demonstrated ability to manage contractual relationships with multidiscipline service providers within a KPI environment.
- Experience in working with Government to achieve business outcomes.
- Strong understanding of:
- facility maintenance processes;
- building and construction legislation;
- WHS concepts, interpretations and legislation.
- Finance and budgetary skills or qualifications with focus on ability to manage costs.
- Experience in managing audit and compliance processes.
- High level negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
