- Permanent Part-Time (24 hours per week)
- Classification: Enrolled Nurse - Medication Endorsed Yr 1-5.
- Remuneration: $31.83- $34.59 per hour, plus applicable loadings.
- Plan appropriate care in consultation with the patient and registered nurse.
- Act in accordance with profession's code of ethics and professional standards.
- Provide education, information to patients and carers to facilitate understanding.
- Organise and perform stated duties proficiently with minimum direct supervision.
- Demonstrated computer literacy.
- Communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
- Minimum 12 months recent experience in cancer nursing or an acute care setting or ambulatory care.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment and in periods of high demand.
- Endorsed Enrolled Nurse authorised to practise by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

About you
The Endorsed Enrolled Nurse is responsible for providing safe, effective and appropriate care in a patient focused ambulatory care environment. The Endorsed Enrolled Nurse - Outpatient services will have the opportunity to work across the Medical Centre, Radiation Oncology Department and Day Treatment Centre.
To be successful in this role, you will have experience in an acute care setting, willingness to undergo professional development and training, as well as an interest in cancer care.
The Calvary Mater Newcastle provides a comprehensive range of cancer services, diagnosis and treatment including chemotherapy, radiation therapy and surgery. To learn more about our services, clinics and community please view here
