The Role:


An exciting opportunity presents for a motivated, experienced and skilled EHS Specialist or Safety Engineer at Associate to Principal level to join our team in Perth


As a valued team member, you will be responsible for leading, managing and delivering a diverse range of technical EHS projects through a client-centric approach, and successfully delivering those projects in partnership with key internal and external stakeholders.


Specifically, this role will see you:

  • Work with an amazing team of industry-leading professionals
  • Using your technical experience and advisory skills to provide expert advice on a range of contemporary and best in class EHS assurance activities.

Including, but not limited to:

  • Contemporary EHS management system strategy, auditing and design;
  • Due diligence and EHS assurance services;
  • Best practice, legislative and specialist EHS technical advice (such as high risk work, HAZOP, Safety in Design, Psychosocial Risk Management, Hazardous Chemicals);
  • Thought leadership, client relationship and business development.
  • Working collaboratively to ensure our clients are supported through the provision of timely, diligent and professional health and safety advice and services.
  • Prepare highlevel complex technical reports, and provide ongoing feedback and technical guidance to enhance the deliverables of other team members.
  • Contribute to the wider teams delivery of secured work through technical leadership, guidance and support.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need the following:

  • A tertiary qualification in health and safety and preferably science and/or engineering.
  • Accreditations such as Lead Auditor (ISO 45001, ISO as well as qualifications / experience in specialist EHS technical areas and disciplines will be highly regarded (e.g. Safety Engineering, Human Factors, Psychology, Dangerous Goods).
  • At least 15 years' of professional experience in EHS roles preferably in a corporate or consulting role; experience across a range of industries and complex organisations.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships as well as communicate effectively across all levels.
  • Effective time management, organisational and project management skills.
  • Robust analytical yet pragmatic approach with attention to detail as well as exceptional problemsolving abilities.
