About Us:
Our client is a leading manufacturer in the plastics sector.
They are committed to delivering high-quality products and are currently seeking an experienced Injection Moulding Die Setter Technician to join their team and contribute to its ongoing success.
As an Injection Moulding Die Setter/Technician, you will be responsible for setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting injection moulding machines to ensure efficient and high-quality production.
The Staff member will be responsible for:1.
Die Setting:
Set up of injection moulding machines according to production schedules.
2.
Troubleshooting:
Identify and resolve issues related to mould setup, machine operation, and product defects to minimize downtime and waste.
3.
Quality Control:
Perform quality checks as specified and monitor production runs to ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.
4.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of mould changes, machine settings and quality specification. Report any abnormalities or deviations.
5.
Safety Compliance:
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Promote a culture of safety among the team.
6.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and efficiency enhancements in the injection moulding department.
To be successful in this role you must have the following:
- Proven experience as an Injection Moulding Die Setter / Technician.
- Proficiency in mould setup, and troubleshooting.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problemsolving skills.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and best practices in injection moulding.
- Attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a fastpaced manufacturing environment.
- Able to work afternoon shift.
- Flexibility to work different shifts and overtime as needed.
Salary:
$68, $79,228.00 per year
