Taylor Root is partnering with one of Australia's leading law firms to assist in the growth of their leading banking and projects team.

This is an excellent opportunity for ambitious and driven lawyers that are looking to fast track their careers in a nimble and entrepreneurial environment.

You will be given a great level of autonomy early on and exposure to brilliant work and clients.


The Role


You will be part of a non-siloed practice where you will be advising a mix of leading lenders, borrowers and sponsors on some of the biggest energy and infrastructure projects around.

The work includes headline grabbing renewable and telco projects. Clients include not only the major national banks but also leading international investment banks.


While you will be working closely with one excellent partner, you will also work with, and learn from, 3 other leading partners in this team.

We have met with the main partner you will be working closely with a few times. We have been impressed with the support she gives her team.

Her team is given autonomy to run with big matters but at the same time have the support that they need, when they need it.

Feedback from the team is extremely positive.


You will be working on a range of major finance and project documents and advising in relation to general financing matters.


This firm works on all aspects of projects so you will work closely with the corporate and construction teams as well.


About You
You are looking to take a step up in your career and have:

  • Excellent drafting skills and attention to detailA strong client relationship focus
A team player attitude and ethos

2 to 5 years of quality banking and finance experience in a leading law firm
