The Position?

Assist chefs and kitchen staff with food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, portioning ingredients, and assembling dishes
Receive, store, and organise food and supplies in designated storage areas, ensuring proper rotation, labelling, and inventory control
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in kitchen and storage areas, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards to ensure guest safety and compliance with health regulations.
Operating a commercial dishwasher to a high standard

The Person

Previous experience working in a kitchen environment, preferably in a fastpaced setting, demonstrating familiarity with basic food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, take direction from kitchen management, and adapt to changing priorities and tasks.
Commitment to upholding high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, following food safety protocols and sanitation guidelines to create a safe and hygienic kitchen environment for staff and guests
