Investigations Analyst

CROWN SYDNEY


Reporting to the Head of Investigations, Intelligence & Integrity (Security Investigations Unit - SIU), the Investigations Analyst is responsible for enquiring into various matters, both criminal and civil, as they occur within the company or as deemed necessary by management.

The SIU is Crown Sydney's central contact point for Law Enforcement Agency (LEA) requests and enquiries, and forms an integral part of this role.


Some of the key duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Identify reported incidents that require follow-up involvement of the SIU and further investigation
  • Identify and analyse potential organised crime links and report these to the Head of Investigations
  • Identify incidents required to be reported to police and in doing so conduct simultaneous enquiries to ensure the Crown brand is protected
  • Take comprehensive statements as required and requested by the Head of Investigations
  • Attend to all Notices to Produce received from external stakeholders including the Casino Regulator and/or LEAs as directed by the Head of Investigations
  • Request relevant information from internal stakeholders for reply to all notices
  • Conduct Probity checks
  • Crown Exclusion, & Security Incident database management

To be successful you will need:

  • Demonstrated experience in assisting with or conducting investigations, either within the integrated resort industry, law enforcement, military or other relevant fields essential
  • Tertiary qualifications or working towards completion in a related field (e.g. Bachelor of Criminology or similar).
  • Certificate IV in Investigation (highly desirable but not essential).
  • Relevant Security licence for NSW
  • Excellent communication and problemsolving skills
  • The ability to hold and maintain Casino licenses across NSW, VIC and WA
