Our client is a true success story who are growing at an incredible rate and operate in a number of different Industries across Australia.

This is a newly created role due to growth and is an exciting opportunity for a Head of Internal Audit to join this fantastic company.


As the Head of Internal Audit you will play a pivotal role in the companies future growth as you put in place key frameworks to help to achieve this success.


Key responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement a compliance framework and processes company wide
  • Conduct audits across the business to review internal controls
  • Ensure compliance with the organisations regulations
  • Work closely with the wider finance team and organisation to implement best practice
  • Be the main point of contact for any updates on accounting policy changes
  • Present Internal Audit findings to senior executives
  • Due diligence on potential new M & A activity

Qualifications and Skills:


  • CA/ CPA Qualified
  • Ex Big 4/ Mid Tier experience is highly desirable
  • 7 plus years in a Senior Internal Audit role
  • Strong technical accounting experience including Accounting Standards
  • Significant experience with implementing Internal Controls, Risk and Governance frameworks
  • Self starter
  • Experience with presenting and working closely with Senior Executives
