The Position

St John of God Mt Lawley Hospital is a boutique facility located right on the banks of the iconic Swan River.

The hospital was established in 1932 and has a strong tradition of providing surgical services and maternity care.

It is also the largest non-government provider of rehabilitation services in Western Australia, with private and publicly funded services supported by a comprehensive multidisciplinary team.

The
Allied Health Assistant provides clinical and administrative support to physiotherapists, occupational therapists, other therapy and nursing staff.

These positions will be offered on a
casual basis.

  • A willingness and capacity to embrace the Mission and Values of St John of God Health Care.
  • Certificate III Allied Health Assistance, or suitable experience in a similar position
    or currently completing tertiary studies in an Allied Health discipline.
  • Ability to follow instructions, policies and procedures.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to relate to others in a sensitive and professional manner.
  • Demonstrated ability and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
  • Welldeveloped organisational skills, with an ability to manage your own workflow and cope with competing demands.
