What you'll be doing


As the Warehouse Team Leader you will be responsible for driving high-performing, accountable, values-based and empowered frontline warehouse team to meet established Warehouse objectives in way of supporting and guiding the team to achieve the set goals and objectives across HSE, Quality, Customer Service, DIFOT and Chain of Responsibility obligations.

Key Responsibilities- Actively lead the site's 'Safety Starts with me' practice, ensuring compliance with HSEQ standards and rules, ensuring injuries, incidents, hazards and illnesses are reported and acted on immediately to create a safe, healthy and sustainable workplace.- Ensure that product manufactured is ready for delivery via our third-party logistics supplier.- Support cost of quality project initiatives- Delivery Schedule Achievement (Customer Service %, Schedule Adherence, etc.)- Report to internal customers on daily targets- Warehouse Output and Productivity- Develop and Implement housekeeping standards using the "6S" Philosophy- Basic People Management (Labour Turnover, Absenteeism)- Personnel Training (Skills Matrix, Progress to Training Plan)

Who you are


Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong operational, team management, problem solving, and customer focused skills
  • Wellhoned warehouse and distribution process knowledge, stakeholder management, including partnering, influencing, facilitation, communication and computer skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team; lives the company values and leads for purpose. Leadership & management.
  • Quality Assurance Systems
  • HSE and COR Understanding and experience

Experience:


  • Proactive 'cando' attitude and experience working in a fast paced environment 2+ years in management positions supervising 25 or more personnel
  • Demonstrated record of achieving results through a motivated and engaged teams.
  • Intimate knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices, health and safety requirements, auditing requirements and relevant legislation.
  • Continuous improvement/Lean Methodology implementation experience

Qualifications, licenses, certifications:
Training in Continuous Improvement Systems (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma)- Front line qualifications or willing to undertake a Cert IV in Leadership or Cert III in Logistics & Supply Chain- Training in Safety hazard and risk identification, reporting and management
