Sales Representative - Mechanical

On Target Earnings potential $80,000 -$100,000


Our client is a successful and growing wholesale automotive parts supply business headquartered in Sydney with offices in Brisbane and Melbourne.

They operate in vehicle collision repair, mechanical workshops, and the broader automotive trade.


As part of their business expansion, they are looking for an experienced Sales professional to join their team in Melbourne to help grow and develop new business opportunities across Melbourne and the state of Victoria.

You will be part of a national sales team with ongoing support and training to help you succeed in your work.

You'll be someone who enjoys selling and interacting with people and has an interest in all things automotive.

You'll be able to point to a successful track record in sales and account management experience.

Achieving KPI's and targets and working in a fast-paced environment is something you're familiar with and enjoy in your work.


This Sales Representative role will focus on growing the business and creating new sales opportunities in both existing and new markets.


The role will see you:


  • Maintaining and building client relationships, promoting the brand, products, and service deliverables with a focus on identifying and onboarding new business opportunities.
  • Achieving sales budgets through a combination of:
  • face-to-face and over the phone interactions, and
- employing effective sales strategies to target new business.

  • Liaising with mechanical workshop customers and supporting the internal customer service team to solve problems and find the best solutions for our clients.
  • Proactively and positively building and maintaining valueadd relationships with customers at all levels.
  • Attending and participating in regular sales meetings and ongoing training sessions.
  • Attending relevant market trade evenings and or shows to represent the brand.
A valid driver's licence is required as you'll be out on the road meeting people.

A professional attitude and approach coupled with a genuine interest in the automotive world are important attributes we are seeking from applicants.
