ROLE OVERVIEW


Reporting directly to the Founder and CEO, the Sales Manager will lead the sales growth for VERVE to consumers and commercial gyms in Australia while also driving our growth internationally to become an established global brand.


Working out of the VERVE HQ, located in Upper Coomera (Gold Cost), you will bring your experience, entrepreneurial spirit, and winning mindset to a tight-knit team.


You will already have experience managing a high performing sales team; with your new objective to scale it in Australia quickly and then look to do the same thing in expanding markets.


The focus of the role is on working with a sales team in outbound prospecting and pipeline building to manage their performance to exceed target.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Produce credible sales forecasts.
  • Manage the entire sales teams and pipeline.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE

  • Most importantly,
    a clear and consistent track record in achieving significant sales growth for their sales team.
  • At least 5 year's experience as a sales manager.
  • A track record in managing a diverse team to prospect, build their pipeline, manage it, and bring sales to completion.
  • A passion for health and fitness and knowledge of fitness equipment.
  • A cando attitude, hardworking approach and ability to make things happen working on their own initiative.
  • Ability to give outstanding customer service.
  • Enthusiasm, verve, and a commitment to giving their very best every day to serve our customers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills, particularly MS Excel. Experience with an ERP like NetSuite or CRM system would be ideal.
  • A targetoriented mindset.
  • Experience with setting targets, performance plans and setting objectives for a sales team
  • Ability to interpret financial data to make business decisions
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective professional relationships
  • The ability to maintain and grow a strong and positive team culture
  • A good sense of humour.

KEY DELIVERABLES:


  • Develop and implement the company's sales strategy to achieve targets and goals in line with the company expectations
  • Lead the existing sales team to deliver sales activity that ultimately ensures achieving targets
  • Scale the sales team as the business grows (interviewing, hiring, training, coaching, removing nonperformers)
  • Continuously develop the sales process from prospecting to closing, and constantly refining to ensure conversion rates are maximised across all steps of the sales process
  • Review and define the available market, implement gained insights to ensure market trends are identified across pricing, promotion, or new products/services
  • Manage gross margin deliverables through pricing management and careful promotional planning
  • Provide accurate sales and profit forecasts
  • Provide Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Reporting of sales activity and financial performance across areas of responsibility.
  • Monitor customer experiences through review channels and implement initiatives to continuously improve the customer experience.
  • Responsible to ensure all partners and customer satisfaction is of the highest level
We are offering a full-time position with a competitive package including superannuation and bonus for on target performance.

Job Types:

Pay:
$120, $250,000.00 per year


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

Education:


  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:


  • Sales management: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)
