About the Role:

We are currently looking for a dynamic
Digital Content Coordinator to join our
Experience Melbourne team.

Experience Melbourne is the epicentre of all things exciting including events, destination marketing and tourism at the City of Melbourne.

We're looking for a proactive individual who is passionate about staying ahead of digital trends. In this role, staying informed about the latest digital developments and technologies is crucial.

As a Digital Content Coordinator, you'll provide valuable input and advice to ensure that our digital content remains current, relevant, and in line with City of Melbourne corporate style guide requirements.

What you will bring to the Role:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in communications, marketing, information technology or other relevant field, or relevant practical experience in an online communications role.
  • Experience in multimedia content creation including video, sound clips and photography, using specialist software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop and all mainstream in app editing software (Instagram, Cap Cut, TikTok etc), and the ability to contribute to planning and shooting of multimedia content for internal stakeholders.
  • Welldeveloped skills in creating multimedia content for social networks, enewsletters and websites, including reporting on the results of activities.
  • Experience in planning and executing routine digital communications activities using a range of proven industry techniques including paid social and performance media.
  • Ability to coordinate, deliver and support on a number of projects simultaneously in a complex environment.
  • Highlevel research, problem solving and analytical skills, including the ability to interpret and analyse information that contributes to the development, coordination and delivery of multimedia content within timeframes and budgets.
  • Good interpersonal skills, including the ability to work within a team, and to communicate and liaise with a broad range of stakeholders.
