We're seeking a future team member for the role of Business Manager to join our Corporate Trust team. This role is located in Sydney, NSW - HYBRID (Min of 3 days in office per week).

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Business management (including day to day managing of business, resource mgmt., connectivity and alignment with business partners, MBRs & presentations to EC, team meeting governance, planning, etc.).
  • Supports enhancement and oversight of core management reporting and dashboards including KPIs and KRIs.
  • Oversee first line risk, controls, and governance for the business
  • Responsible for all Regulatory and LE entity requirement for the business
  • Work closely with Legal, Risk & Control, to effectively discharge ASIC license requirements for 4 legal entities.
  • Be the point of contact/coordinator for completion of requirements under Records Management, Third Party Governance, Business Continuity, Audit, Service Level Agreements, and Compliance Monitoring.
  • Work with our Lender of Record clients to ensure their timely delivery of material required under DDO, AML and other compliance regimes.
  • Host Monthly Trust Committee Forums. Ensure functional teams provide timely reporting and that matters of concern are escalated regionally.
  • Provide guidance to Leadership Team on market best practices to continuously improve the client and stakeholder outcomes.
  • Lead the execution of CT business priorities and projects across functional teams
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

  • Experienced Responsible Manager under Australian Financial Services License regime
  • Strong track record of execution against business priorities in financial services, Corporate Trust or similar field
  • Strength in executive level collaboration and able to influence multiple internal partners to drive results in a matrixed environment
  • Extensive project management expertise and experience in transformation
  • Ability to balance extremely high attention to detail and accuracy with tight deadlines on critically meaningful work
  • Proven ability to bring together diverse groups to build better client and employee outcomes, with focus on efficiency.
