What does the role involve?


Reporting to the Head of Cloud Engineering, you will be accountable for the Cloud Platform Operation and Strategic vision and ensure that the Platform is Optimised and Operational to underpin our _Post 26 Strategy_.

This person will act as a customer advocate in the Cloud Platform engineering team. This pivotal role will help Product/Workload teams innovate and accelerate delivery on a secure platform while reducing costs.

This will be done by identifying, articulating business value, standardizing, and prioritizing cloud platform high-level capabilities/services across AWS, GCP, and Azure platforms.


In addition to managing the platform backlog at the program level, this role will be responsible for managing the engineering of Foundational Cloud Platform services.

This will include but is not limited to organizational structure of the cloud environment, tenant onboarding automation, cloud networking, service catalogue, and part of the infrastructure shared services.


What are we looking for?

  • Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or any related discipline
  • Extensive experience acting as a Cloud Product owner across multiple cloud platforms (e.g. AWS and GCP)
  • Previous experience as a handson platform engineer or architect with deep knowledge in one cloud (preferably both) provider, either AWS or Google Cloud
  • Previous experience with selfservice provisioning automation and CI/CD pipelines
