About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for Clinical Operations Manager to join our MercyCare Residential Aged Care team.

In this role you will be responsible for providing leadership and support to the Clinical Nurse Managers team and ensuring all processes and systems are followed to comply with Aged Care Accreditation Quality Standards.

This role requires excellent time management skills to support in planning, implementing, evaluating processes and liaising with Clinical Quality team.


The Clinical Operations Manager will be working closely with Age Care Senior Management, Quality and HR teams to ensure excellent and compassionate person-centred care is provided withing the context of clinical compliance.


About you
To be successful in this role you will be a passionate individual with strong leadership, organisational, decision making and people management skills


You will also have:

  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
  • Minimum of 5 years leadership experience in a senior clinical role in Age Care setting
  • Knowledge of the Aged Care Accreditation Quality Standards
  • Leadership experience managing diverse workforce preferably in Age Care setting
  • Proven ability to achieve results and key targets and excellent time management skills
  • Knowledge of iCare system or similar
  • Current driver's license
  • Evidence of Covid and Influenza Vaccination (or approved exemption)
  • National Police Clearance (obtained within the last 6 months)
