Our client is a highly regarded industry superannuation fund, offering its clients a range of services and products. They have an opportunity for a Finance Officer looking to take the next step in their career.

Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, this role will be assisting the team with finance related and investment activities.

You will be responsible for collaborating with the investments team across the fund to achieve quality outcomes that best provide service to the members.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Perform reconciliations of unit prices on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis;
  • Coordinate invoicing and credit card management;
  • Monitor custodian bank account and related processes;
  • Assist with financial activities, regulatory requests, and external audits;
  • Support RG 97 fees and cost data collection from fund managers;
  • Monitor portfolio exposures and propose rebalancing trades to senior investment managers;
  • Coordinate investment funding and liquidity requirements;
  • Review investment management fee invoices and arrange payments;
  • Ensure accurate and compliant conduct of activities; AND
  • Provide information in accordance with licensing requirements and Fund guidelines.

Technical Skills & Qualifications

  • Tertiary degree in Accounting, Business, or other relevant discipline is required;
  • CPA/CA is highly regarded;
  • Solid skills in MS Office particularly in Excel;
  • RG146 qualified or with the intention of gaining accreditation;
  • Experience in customer service with a friendly and professional demeanour; AND
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills that facilitate professional interactions with internal and external stakeholders across all levels of the business.
