Job Vacancy - Trade Assistant (Tree Services Industry)

Learn practical skills for the care, maintenance and removal of some of the largest living organisms among us.
- Perform hazard assessments, set up and operate safely in a work site.
- Communicate with clients
- Assist climbing arborist in the rigging and lowering of branches.
- Operate mobile wood chippers and stump grinders
- Operate chainsaws, pole saws and hand tools to perform ground based tree work
- Tree planting
Experience:
No experience is necessary and all training can be provided, however experience in arboriculture, horticulture, landscaping, ecology/ environmental science or as a trade assistant is desirable.
A background in sport is highly regarded.Arboriculture.
Job Types:
Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 16 per week
Salary:
From $35.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
