As we continue to grow, several exciting opportunities have become available to join our Drill & Blast crews across the Pilbara as a Coordinator.
This is a great opportunity for motivated, safety conscious individual who is seeking a development pathway into a frontline leadership role.

Reporting to the Supervisor Drill & Blast, this role will operate on 8 days on; 6 days off and working in a collaborative community, a challenging and exciting environment you will be responsible for:- Conducting work area inspections and safety interactions with team members throughout shift to continuously improve safe workplace & behaviour
- Preparing drill pattern and blasting activities
- Meeting the requirements of the mine plan in drill and blast activities
- Support the supervisor in ensuring the safety of the team and comply with all critical standards and participate in the use of safety tools such as Take
- Undertaking acting duties when the supervisor is absent and liaising with other departments in a professional manner for best business outcomes
- Well informed, trained and very knowledgeable of mining standards practices and procedures in Western Australia
What you'll bring
- A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
- Demonstrated experience in blast activities in an open put environment
- Proven leadership capabilities are highly desired
- Unrestricted manual C class drivers' licence
- WA shot firer's licence with previous shot firing experience in a large iron ore mine
- Exposure to safety systems within a large mining company
- Experience with developing and implementing safe procedures with previous supervisory experience
