About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an Applications Support Analyst to join our Technology team.

You will be working primarily with our retail, trade, and wholesale businesses and will be responsible for the day-to-day support of our Manhattan WMS system.

In addition, you will play a key role on other projects and initiatives pertaining to, ERP Systems, Point of Sale, Business Intelligence, and other systems.

The role will require you to provide both remote and on-site support to our customer base in Mount Waverley and in Tullamarine.


In this role you will perform requirements analysis, data mapping and analysis, current and future state mapping, process, and data flow mapping.

You have experience in solution design and validation, configuration of WMS, and will work with project teams and business stakeholders to deliver outcomes on time and on budget.


Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage ongoing relationship with business partner to drive satisfaction with IT; proactively resolves customer satisfaction issues.
  • Work with business partners to elicit highlevel requirements and capture business and reporting needs.
  • Partner with business & IT counterparts to develop functional and technical requirements for enhancements.
  • Participate in design reviews and walkthroughs to communicate systems designs and validate proposed solutions.
  • Engage with knowledge workers to incorporate usability and user interface needs when designing systems.
  • Technical configuration of Manhattan WMS to meet operational requirements.
  • Assess the risks of various solutions and prioritizes competing business demands.
  • Obtain key inputs from technology teams and identifies solution interdependencies.
  • Provideand document knowledge transition from continuous improvement initiatives/projects to support team; support system upgrades, modifications and changes following Group IT change management policies.
  • Work with external vendors to ensure their performance against SLAs.
About you

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business Analysis or a relevant IT related discipline.
  • Solid experience in information technology with expertise in some of the following areas:
Manhattan WMS configuration and implementations
WMS system integrations
Supply Chain business process analysis & continuous improvement
Solution architecture and vendor management

  • Specific Manhattan WMS experience and knowledge of the database, architecture, configuration, and design including reporting tools like SCI, Jasper, SQL & dashboards, Linux operating system.
  • Familiarity with multiple ERP, POS, and WMS systems.
  • Strong experience in WMS integrations including to automated systems such as Goods to Person.
  • Retail, trade and wholesale industry experience or understanding an advantage.
  • Ability to understand and disseminate industry terminology and concepts to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills and the ability to work across all business units.
  • Comfortable working closely with business stakeholders at all levels and able to work as part of multidisciplinary teams.
