About the Position
Located in Toowoomba is our Symes Thorpe residential Aged Care Facility that is home to our wonderful residents.

We are currently looking for

Personal Care Workers on a casual basis to join the team. If you are looking for job security but permanent employment does not meet your current requirements, then we have casual shifts across afternoons and evenings where you will be valued for your skills and abilities, rewarded by your efforts as prat of our wonderful care staff.

About you:

You will provide a range of high-quality services to residents within the facility, including their individual physical, psychological, cultural and spiritual needs.

As a Personal Care Worker, you will support a safe home-like environment, and encourage physical and social independence whilst safeguarding the dignity and privacy of the residents.

Support residents with selfcare including bathing and dressing
Involvement with social and recreational activities
Provide emotional, social and spiritual support to residents
Be compassionate and personable
Excellent written and verbal communication with the confidence & capacity to contribute to care plan documentation
Committed to harmoniously working within a team environment
Certificate III or IV in Aged Care (or similar)
National Police Clearance (current within 6 months)
Full Covid Vaccination evidence
