Develop and monitor polices for effective data management

  • Canberra based, SFIA level 5 role
  • NV1 Security Clearance or higher (NV2 or TSPV)

Gateway Synergy is looking for highly experienced Data Manager contractor for a government department. An exciting opportunity is open for exciting roles at a rapidly growing 6-year project. Be part of a team that makes meaningful changes and improves Australian lives.

This is an opportunity to relocate to Canberra to work in an exciting govt department. The role will involve being sponsored to receive TS PV

The Role:


The role will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Develop and monitor polices for effective data management
  • Formulate management methodologies for quality data collection to ensure accuracy and legitimacy of data sets
  • Develop and implement secure data management procedures
  • Ensure secure and effective flow of data
  • Identify methods to organize, store and analyse data
  • Support, plan and conduct test and evaluation activities for deliverable systems and products
  • As required, undertake any other tasks as requested by the Technical team

Essential criteria

  • Experience with a similar role, preferably in a government department
  • Possesses an NV1 Security clearance or higher
