About the role

The Council's Arts & Culture Department is looking for casual Functions Officers who will be responsible for providing high-quality food and beverage service at the Frankston Arts Centre and Frankston Civic Centre.

The main responsibilities will include:

Providing Hospitality Support through the delivery of catering services the service of food and beverage;
Undertaking bar service and waiting duties at Events; and
Setting up catering requirements for the Function and Events within the Frankston Arts Centre & Council Chamber.

This will be a casual position.

About you

Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role, working in large fastpaced function centres;
Availability to work weekends;
Bar and barista experience is desirable;
Good understanding of event catering;
Excellent customer service skills, communication and writing skills;
The ability to stay composed in difficult situations; and
Current RSA.

This position is a Band 2 currently remunerated between $39.12 to $40.26 per hour, plus superannuation.
