Custom Air Automotive Air Conditioning is an established business with 30 years experience specialising in Design, Manufacture, Supply & Installation of Custom, Sleeper Cab Air Conditioning Systems & Customised Sleeper Cabin Fit outs.

Our Head Office & Factory is based in
Somerton Victoria.

Due to the continued growth of our company, we currently have an opportunity for a Motivated -
Junior Automotive Trades Assistant to join our
Rocklea, Brisbane Qld team with any of the below preferred qualifications and attributes.

This role is suited to a junior entry level person with a C class drivers' licence, wanting to become trained within the heavy Vehicle Air Conditioning / Electrical & Manufacturing industry.

You will be a reliable self-motivated, responsible person with excellent Communication skills who is able to work unsupervised and as a part of a team, reporting direct to the Workshop Manager.

This person will as required be assisting our Air Conditioning technicians on Heavy Vehicle installations, Custom kit Installations to Cabin Interiors & supporting the Production / Assembly team as required.

To be successful, you will possess:

Previous Experience in a similar role or competitor preferred.
Mechanical Knowledge, aptitude & ability
Previous Trades assistance within a mechanical role, an advantage.
Mechanical and Auto Air conditioning understanding/experience preferred, but not essential.
Experience as a vehicle accessory fitter an advantage
Automotive electrical experience an advantage but not essential
Experience with Air operated tooling
Ability to work Unsupervised
Ability to problem solve
Be clean & well presented
Display strong problem solving and decision making skills
Be highly motivated, willing to learn and advance yourself.

This person will need to have a current Australian Car Drivers License.
