Our current programs include emergency relief, financial counselling, family support and education, community support, foster care, housing and family shelter, homelessness services and refugee services.

Elcies Disability Care is the dynamic and thriving Disability service within Lutheran Care providing services to clients with a disability who are in receipt of a NDIS plan.

We have an exciting opportunity for a
Clinical Lead - Allied Health, with qualifications in either
Speech Pathology or
Occupational Therapy to join our Elcies Disability Care team to build the Allied health section of our Disability Support Services.

You will be a relationship builder with exceptional skills in your chosen field.

Your drive to build this program will have you recruiting new staff who will report to you, whilst you work with the Service Development team to sign up new NDIS participants to your new service.

We're looking to you to be the expert in this field, where your knowledge and contribution to the development of the Allied health service will be recognised and respected within Elcies Disability Care and Lutheran Care leadership teams.


In this role, you will:


  • Provide sound leadership to practitioners within the EDC Speech Pathologist or Occupational Therapist program
  • Provide regular clinical mentoring and support to the wider therapy team and drive high standards of service
  • Recruit appropriately qualified and skilled staff to meet the needs of the business in consultation with the Executive Manager Specialist Services
  • Identify and develop key strategic relationship networks to achieve goals and improve outcomes for clients and service delivery methods.
  • Some out of hours work required._

Required Qualifications:

Tertiary qualifications in Allied Health (either a Bachelor of Applied Science in Occupational Therapy or equivalent, or a Bachelor of Speech Pathology) and eligibility to register with at least one of the below professional Associations / Boards:

  • registration with Speech Pathology Australia or the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- registration or ability to register with the NDIS Quality and Safeguard Commission.


Salary Packaging:

We offer a competitive remuneration plus salary packaging. The Australian Taxation Office (ATO) allows Public Benevolent Institutions (PBI), such as Lutheran Care, to offer special tax concessions. Through salary packaging, these concessions allow employees to increase their take-home pay.

  • The successful applicant will be required to undergo a NDIS Workers Screening Check, a DHS Working With Children Check, a National Police clearance as well as a current Safe Environments for Children & Young People certificate. You must hold a current and unrestricted South Australian Driver's License and possess a registered roadworthy vehicle available for work use (employees reimbursed for work travel). In addition, the successful applicant will be required to provide evidence of COVID19 vaccination or a medical exemption._
