Factory Foreman - Stone Industry - Western Sydney

We are looking for a Factory Foreman that is looking for a new and rewarding opportunity with a locally owned and successful Stone business based in Sydney's Western Suburbs.

Fulltime position - Immediate start available.


Salary
Based on experience, the salary is from $120K + Super

  • Salary is based on experience and packages will be worked out directly with the successful applicant._

Your contribution

  • Provide direction and leadership to factory team.
  • Assist, supervise and support staff in timely and accurate completion of work assignments
  • Assigning jobs to team members and coordinate work tasks.
  • Ensuring the team meet scheduled completion dates.
  • Quality control
  • Oversee the factory processes.
  • Assisting where required with technical support.
  • Demonstrate and promote OH&S.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of factory

Experience, attributes and abilities include

  • Previous experience working within the Stone industry.
  • Proven experience as a factory foreman or supervisor.
  • Strong leadership and training ability.
  • Strong team building, decisionmaking and people management skills
  • Knowledge of OHS, manufacturing, quality, productivity, inventory and factory processes.
  • Highly organised.
  • Ability to create accountability and to lead by example.
  • Creative problem solver with an excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent at time management
  • Computer literacy required.
  • Australian citizen or permanent resident.
