About the Opportunity:


The Research and Insights Manager will lead our efforts in delivering high-value data-driven insights that resonate with our ideal customer, identifying trends through both external research and internal product usage.

Their expert research and data interpretation will provide the foundation for thought-leadership content that informs and engages our customers through a variety of channels.

Their work will help to pinpoint industry trends, customer needs and competitor analysis to better align ELMO's marketing efforts with our customers' challenges.

They will act as an evangelist for the ELMO brand by presenting the latest thought-leadership topics at industry events, roundtables, webinars, podcasts and customer advisory sessions.

They will also source external influencers from the HR community to elevate ELMO's brand awareness and reach.


This role will also be a key bridge between marketing and customer-facing teams in understanding customer needs and translating those needs through the lens of ELMO's purpose and brand positioning.

They will develop a program to interpret trends from ELMO's own product usage, delivering value-adding insight back to the customer.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop ELMO's thought leadership strategy and and drive its implementation
  • Lead the effort to gather, analyse, and interpret ELMOcommissioned or proprietary data including the quarterly Employee Sentiment Index and annual HR Industry Research
  • Design and develop a Customer Insight gathering program to analyse product usage and interpret trends
  • Design, host, and manage webinars and podcasts that inform, educate, and generate demand for our current and prospective clients
  • Establish and maintain metrics dashboards to track and report on performance.
  • Drive thought leadership efforts and serve as a brand evangelist, promoting ELMO's brand through industryleading insight
  • Identify opportunities to deliver industryspecific insights to key verticals, inline with sales strategy
  • Collaborate effectively with various departments to ensure information is shared across the organisation, equipping sales and customer experience teams with relevant insights
  • Present findings to key stakeholders, influencing the marketing strategy with databacked insights.
  • Stay abreast of recent trends and developments in the HR industry, ensuring the company maintains a competitive edge when it comes to delivering empowering and thoughtprovoking content for our stakeholders.

Skills and Experiences:


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within B2B SaaS technology and/or the HR industry.
  • Strong grasp of storytelling, data analysis, market research tools, and methodologies.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to host engaging webinars and podcasts.
  • Ability to present complex data in an understandable, compelling manner.
  • Excellent organisational and timemanagement skills.
