Flight Centre Travel Group are looking for a
Store Merchandising Specalist to join the team This role is centered around optimising Flight Centre brands instore experience, and sales, by ensuring that all retail stores (globally) adhere to a _one-best-way_ instore visual experience standard (point of sale, fitout displays, digital screens, marketing fixtures, co-op real estate). Along with the standardisation of the branding opportunities in our stores, this role will also be key in supporting store opening marketing plans, and building out the strategy, planning and implementation activities of the store-of-the-future.


A day in the life...

  • Working with property teams on the governance and implementation of store/fitout design changes in all Flight Centre regions
  • Building marketing blueprints to support relevant store openings and relocations globally
  • Managing a uniform one best way merchandising strategy globally
  • Working with suppliers on digitising stores, and building concept store of the future
  • Working with Campaign and Partnership teams on selling key store real estate as part of cooperative campaigns
  • Liaising with Media Agencies on building a future blueprint allowing Flight Centre to be a media publisher in stores
  • The successful applicant will need to regularly attend store visits and complete customer research
  • As this role supports all Flight Centre regions, there will be the occasion where a meeting is required outside of core working day hours, flexibility/time in lieu will be provided

Who you are...

  • 5+ years of experience in a marketing and merchandising based role
  • Fundamental understanding of customer lifecycle and retailing
  • Experience and understanding of the travel industry (desired)
