About the role
Duties
- Managing a team
- Regular site inspection/visits
- Meeting time targets and ensuring targets/quality standards are met
- Liaising with clients
- Business development
- Effective communication and technical guidance to the workshop/ Optimzing employee unilization
- Monthly reconciling of Job Costing to associated budgets.
- Tender /Estimate reviews
- Management of project procurement, including material, equipment, and labour and subcontractors.
- Scheduling
- Quality Control
- Compile project documentation and reports.
Requirements:
- Experience as an Operations or Fabrication Manager
- Experience in structural, mechanical, piping
- Engineering or Trade qualifications preferable.
- Proficient in planning, organizing, and working to timelines and scheduling
- Ability and proven experience to work autonomously
- Experience in SMP estimating
- Willingness to travel.
- A commitment to WH&S, QA, and Environment.
- Sound abilities using Microsoft Office software.
