_Customer Service Consultant_, is crucial to the success of the operation of the home.

Supporting the resident experience, you will work across the following functions:
tours, admission, agreements, and the customer journey experience.

About the Role


As a Business Administrator (BA), you will work closely with the General Manager and be part of the care home leadership team.

Along with being one of our welcoming faces, you will be responsible for a range of administrative responsibilities to help support the operation of the care home.

You will play a pivotal role with rostering, workplace planning, resident placement, and be the face for the care home.


Duties
There are a two portfolios within the BA role, which are split across the BA's within the care homes. Portfolios include resident and employee. Resident will cover things such as tours, admission, agreements, and the customer journey experience. Employee will cover things such as rostering and pay, on training/compliance/HR. You would know about both portfolios, however will specialise in one, in addition to sharing reception duties.


Some key duties below:

  • Management of resident administration including enquiries, admissions and maintaining occupancy targets
  • Staff rostering including HR administration and payroll support for up to 150 staff
  • Financial management including petty cash, receipting, and banking
  • General administration including document control, mail, customer service, reception, maintaining the kitchen amenities
  • Management of resident administration including enquiries, admissions and maintaining occupancy targets

Skills and Experience

  • Minimum of a Cert III in Business Administration or equivalent experience
  • Previous experience gained in a similar admin/customer service role
  • Patience. Working in a care home is fun and rewarding, we truly love our residents, but it also requires calm and patience, and a sunny disposition.
  • Everyone says they need great communication skills, but diplomacy and a proactive approach is particularly important in this role. You might be speaking to a worried family, or a confused resident, and although you can't always provide answers, you can reassure and follow up.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills across the MS Office Suite
  • Highly developed organisation and time management skills prioritisation and selfdirection is key in this role
