HME Coordinator

  • Fortescue's Perth office is located on the traditional lands of the Whadjuk Noongar people.

Roster:
Monday to Friday


The Mobile Assets team in Perth are seeking a suitably experienced person to coordinate works planned for the HME fleet and be responsible for managing new and hire equipment builds including the install of technology systems.


Key responsibilities include:


  • Ensure new and hire equipment meets FMG, Australian, International, and other relevant standards including Mine regulations.
  • AHS/Technology systems inspections to ensure fitment is in accordance with our current standards.
  • Detail and manage HME and technology specifications.
  • Provide a consistent link with our OEM's and vendors to ensure schedule adherence, cost control and prompt issue resolution.
  • Inspect all new and hire equipment to ensure they are being managed in accordance with our standards and cost targets.
  • Carry out machine risk assessments as required.
  • Coordinate HME transport when necessary.
  • Travel to site will be adhoc.

Qualifications and Experience:


  • Sound understanding of Mine regulations, Australian, International, and other relevant standards.
  • Considerable experience in a similar role.
  • Strong Project Management experience essential.
  • Engineering or Trade Qualifications.
  • 3+ years working with AHS/Terrain/Site aware technology systems.
  • Strong leadership skills and influencing abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships.
  • High organizational and planning skills.
