Working in SIL, you will support our clients in their homes with various activities including daily living, community participation, personal care, domestic duties and taking them to appointments as required.

Our participant in
Huntingdale VIC requires support with manual handling, Mealtime Management, and day to day life activities.

These shifts will be during school hours.

Essential _
skills and experiences_
required to be successful in this role.

  • Hold Certificate or currently studying Dip Nursing with mental health background.
  • Qualifications with Manual Handling.
  • Current First Aid/ CPR Qualifications
  • Working with Children Check.
  • NDIS Workers Screening Clearance.
  • Current Australian Driver's License
  • A minimum availability of
    3 FULL BUSINESS DAYS with additional weekends available.
  • Ability to work independently and exceptional time management.
  • Willing to complete NDIS Orientation Module and any other modules required prior to commencing employment.

Desired
A relevant qualification or experience in the following is desired:

  • Experience supporting people with Mental Health and Complex Behaviours.
  • Knowledge and experience with participants who require mealtime management.
  • Can Assist Clients with Medication.
